The Salon: The Salon is the ideal room for any group from 15 to 80 people. The size of the room allows unrestricted view and excellent acoustics. The Salon receives great natural sunlight, but it also has the capacity to be totally "blacked out" for slide, video or movie presentations. The quiet surroundings of the hotel, allow the windows of the room to open for fresh air. The Salon is perfect for seminars, training sessions, presentations,. luncheons, and dinners, conferences, medium size meeting and receptions. The Salon is very flexible in the way of setup. The hotel maintains all the furniture and AV needed to set the room in any style imaginable. When not rented, the Salon is the breakfast room of the hotel. The Salon is wallpapered in gold and burgundy. Heavy Victorian drapes dress the windows of the room. Large mirrors, chandeliers and a fireplace, give a unique ambiance to meetings or receptions of all types. Two sets of doors lead to The Courtyard. This area is ideal for the attendees of any function when they desire an out-of-doors break or refreshment area. The courtyard can also be used for cocktail receptions.
The Boardroom: Located adjacent to The Salon, The Boardroom offers comfortable leather chairs and boardroom table, computer modem phone lines, a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, natural sunlight and a view of The Courtyard. The privacy of any meeting is guaranteed in this San Francisco hideaway. The Boardroom is large enough toaccommodate other types of settings.
The Parlor: The Parlor is the main public room of the Hotel, and it is beautiful! It is fully furnished in antiques and has the colors of burgundy and natural wood. A grand staircase leads to the second floor. This room is only rented as part of the entire public space. By request, the antique furnishings can be used or removed. The Parlor is an ideal room for cocktail parties, receptions, wine tasting, wedding ceremonies and other gatherings.
The Library: Another magnificent room, ideal for all types of smaller gatherings. This room is especially suited for "brainstorming" sessions, long meetings (comfortable seating), cocktail parties, or for a special dinning experience for a small, intimate group. The Library has comfortable antique furniture, a 150 year old wood bar , a wood burning fireplace and oil paintings decorate the walls.
